Natural healing is a form of integrative health care that integrates the whole person in the healing process: body, mind, emotion, spirit and life force (Qi) energy.  Natural healing has been seen in the past as an "alternative" form of medicine.  

It incorporates the body, mind, spirit and views the person as a whole not a system of systems.  We are more than pieces.  We are human beings as well as humans being.

It is now seen as mainstream. Holistic healing incorporates non-invasive treatments that utilizes natural healing techniques and remedies, such as herbology, acupuncture, acupressure, aromatherapy, reflexology, homeopathy, reiki, muscle and tissue massage, colour, sound & frequency healing, chakra balancing as well as many others.

A major focus of natural healing is the involvement of the patient's personal desire, intent, and follow-through in the healing process.  

Accordingly, natural healing is as much dependent upon triggering the body's natural healing mechanisms as it is upon the direct stimulus by a practitioner.  

Patients are encouraged to eat a balanced diet, exercise, get adequate rest, utilize stress-release techniques, express themselves in some form of creative endeavor, gain and maintain a positive self-image, and become involved in spiritual activities of their choosing.
